It's called the House in Greece and it isn't just a place to stay. It's an experience in itself.
It's unique, and it's why guests describe the House as ‘Beautiful', ‘Magnificent, ‘Idyllic', 'a fantastic place', 'absolutely Wonderful' and more.
The House in Greece is, simply, stunning.
Sitting in its private 2 acre, enclosed, estate of gardens with over 700m2 of living space, its a wonderful blend of colours and natural light, modern fittings mixing with ancient walls and stone, spaciousness and quietness, that soothes the senses. A intensely serene setting, fabulous for those seeking space and relaxation, or for family reunions, larger groups, celebrations and safe for all ages (including kids and the disabled), where guests can reconnect with themsleves and with real Greece.
Set near a small rural village in olive grove country, it is very spacious, private, extremely well furnished, and sits just 5 minutes way from Aegean seas and beaches and a host of pretty seaside villages, and plenty of restaurants, tavernas, bars and cafe's.
Built on the site of an ancient bakery, stables and a landlords manor, with 400B.C. walling still retained around the pool area, several ancient monuments are within 5 minutes walking distance. And, as it's on the mainland east coast, it's a very simple drive from Athens airport, to a rural, people-friendly, location of often empty coastal beaches, tiny fishing hamlets, with Meteora and Delphi, Thermopylae and Pelion all within 90 minutes, or less, of you.
In its own grounds covering some 2 acres of living space and gardens, it is beautifully furnished and decorated. Interiors and exteriors include furniture from Turkey and the Far East, an English farmhouse style kitchen, Murano ceiling chandeliers, a separate dining room with full dining table, traditional Grecian vases and pottery, a granite poolside dining table, and is graced with many original artifacts and paintings.Using the ancient walls (in some places over 1 metre thick) and original window placements and fireplaces the House is designed for quieteness and coolness in the summer months, or warm snugness in winter.

Its 13 rooms (including 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) cover about 720m2 of living area. The private gardens include about 30 palm, pine, fig, apple, lemon, orange and plum trees (some 60 years old), its own private pool includes a huge sun area, BBQ and bar area, and the entire estate is walled or fenced off from the outside world.
With its beautiful setting, unique mix of modern and ancient, with picturesque seas and mountains surrounding you, the House in Greece is unique, and a very special place to stay.

With the space to comfortably accommodate larger groups (extendable to 18 by using the owners cottage within the same grounds of the estate) we welcome guests with warm and personal attention, offering a host of special extras including in-villa dinners from an expert local Chef, daily or occasional catering, private sailing days, bouzouki nights and excursions, that make your stay totally memorable.
The beaches of the Aegean are from just a 5 minute drive away. Stroll through pretty fishing villages, relax on one of the many local beaches and enjoy the café's, bars and restaurants just a stone's throw away.

Swim off your private yacht for the day after sailing to an empty island or beaches for lunch. Watch olives being picked and pressed. Day trip to the spectacular monasteries of Meteora, the mountain villages and beaches of Pelion, the ancient sights of Delphi, or the famous pass at Thermpolyae (all within an easy drive away). Tennis, beach-volley ball, a world-class Thalasso spa and beauty treatments, or horse riding through the mountains are also available.
Athenians themselves love to weekend in this area, because it's a simple drive away, it's beautiful, idyllic, and it's an un-spoilt real Greece.
